- ASI has successfully managed the Kotah Stone Mining business during
the last six decade in Rajasthan. Shri Deepak Jatia, Chairman &
Managing Director, ASI decides to enter the Infrastructure Development
Projects in view of the recent thrust by Government of India. ASI has
decided to enter into the business of Limestone mining and manufacture
of Cement in view of the growing demand of Cement, its shortages and
spiraling prices.
- ASI Cement Limited being a group Company of Associated Stone
Industries (Kotah) Limited, hence Shri Deepak Jatia is also the Promoter
Director of ASI Cement Limited. By virtue of the provisions of the
Companies Act, 1956, both ASI Cement Limited as well as Associated Stone
Industries (Kotah) Limited are coming under the Same Management.
- Main Objectives:
Mining of Lime Stone and manufacturing of Cement by setting up of a 2 Million Tonne annual capacity Cement Plant. ASI Cement Limited would try to bridge the gap between increasing demand and present availability of Cement.
- Location of Mining Lease & Plant:
ASI Cement Limited had signed an MOU with the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. ASI Cement Limited has been granted lease for Limestone for an area of 926.569 Hect. In Tehsil Ramnagar, District Satna, Madhya Pradesh.
M/s. Holtech Consulting Pvt. Ltd. a reputed consultant in Cement Industry, are providing consultancy right from exploration to execution of Project. Detailed exploration has already been started in the area to establish grade and quantity of Limestone required for the Plant. The Cement Plant will be located close to Limestone reserves.
ASI has scheduled to complete the Project and start production by 2012 – 2013.
